There are around thirty courses throughout the Costa Blanca. There are many golf courses south of Elche. In this article, however, we shall limit ourself to golf courses within about an hour away of Moraira.

Golf’s history in Spain

Golf Club Las Rejas is one of Benidorm’s two golf courses. Located near the Poniente beach and blending in with its surroundings. This nine-hole course is suitable for both novice and advanced golfers. Medium difficulty exists. Founded in 2008 and created by Ramon Espinosa. Many golfers are attracted to this short course.
Villaitana Golf Resort – Benidorm
Villaitana is not limited to golf. Two golf courses located in a beautiful Mediterranean village. All operated by the renowned Melia Group. Two four- and five-star hotels, restaurants, and swimming pools. This is something unique and is regarded as the most magnificent in this region. Here, there are two golf courses. Don Cayo – Altea

Club de Golf La Sella – Denia
La Sella Golf is located in Jesus Pobre, however most people believe it is in Denia. The course was built by the prominent golfer Jose Maria Olazabal. The course began with 18 holes in 1991. In 2010, a second nine-hole course was added to the course. Therefore, there are a total of 27 holes among three smaller courses. Each has a name derived from a local wind. The first round is called “Llebeig,” which is a warm Saharan wind. A beautiful course with breathtaking views and a great deal of difficulty. The golfer will utilize more than ninety percent of his clubs. ¨ “Gregal” is the second nine-hole obstacle. The name alludes to the wind utilized by ships to travel to Greece. The 9-hole course with the youngest name, “Mestral,” refers to the icy wind that farmers fear. La Sella Golf hosted international golf competitions. Oliva Nova Golf – Oliva
